No passion

While cleaning the church in a little team of friendly people we come across a floor which already has been cleaned the day before. I stop the man who vacuums and tell him: „It`s done. It all looks clean to me.“ As I resume my work in the still dirty areas of the building this sentence resonates within me: „It all looks clean to me.“ It sounds similar to: „It`s all Greek to me.“ I repeat the sentences in my head and must admit, that I feel similar towards cleaning as I would feel about something I can`t grasp at all – dispassionate…

Sometimes I just do what needs to be done.
