It`s because of phrases like this one that I love the English language so much. I stumble upon them (in a book) and smile. Then I go back and read them again – and smile again.
Unfortunately only rarely I manage to implement such phrases into my own active vocabulary. This would take much more time and opportunity to actually talk in English. Writing, reading, and listening to English can be easily done in times of e-mail and youtube. Talking still needs someone to talk to…
