I shape the life of my kids – importantly and perhaps sometimes beyond repair: they can become strong and self confident people, trusting and honest, brave, resilient, persevering and humble. Or the opposite – and I am at least partly responsible for the outcome.
The kids shape my life, too – importantly and perhaps sometimes unpredictably: I can become more tolerant, merciful, and experienced in relationships, over the years growing into a person who listens, negotiates, accepts, encourages. Or the opposite – and again I am at least partly responsible for the outcome.
